Dividend amount & payment frequency

The amount of dividend payout may vary and must be approved by company management. If a company pays dividends to their investors, there is no standard dividend payout frequency. Each company may have their own payment schedule. It can be monthly, quarterly or yearly. Some companies don’t pay any dividends at all. To qualify for a dividend payment, you must own company shares.
